My Order Is Delayed in U.S. CustomsUpdated 13 days ago
Orders shipped to the United States may occasionally experience delays while being processed by U.S. Customs and Border Protection. While most shipments clear quickly, customs inspections are outside of CAMILLA AND MARC's control and may extend delivery times.
Why is my order delayed?
Your order may be held for a number of reasons, including:
- Routine customs inspections.
- Additional documentation or clearance requirements.
- Increased customs processing volumes.
- Public holidays or other operational delays.
A customs delay does not necessarily indicate there is an issue with your order.
Do I need to do anything?
In most cases, no action is required and your order will continue to its destination once customs clearance is complete.
If additional information is required to complete the clearance process, the courier will contact you directly using the details provided with your order.
Will I have to pay customs fees?
Eligible U.S. orders are shipped using Delivered Duty Paid (DDP). Any applicable duties and taxes are calculated and paid at checkout, so you will not be charged additional customs fees upon delivery.
How long will customs clearance take?
Customs processing times can vary and are determined by U.S. Customs. Unfortunately, CAMILLA AND MARC and our shipping partners cannot expedite customs inspections once a shipment has been selected for review.
